Today was a big day for our little guy. We had our first run at breast feeding. He didn’t eat a full meal, but the nurse said that he did VERY well. He was rooting around looking for the ‘food faucet’ and latched on fairly easily. Despite my best efforts, there will be no pictures or videos posted from this experience…sorry. We will continue to work on that several times a day from here on out.
Corin also had a special visit today from his Great-Grandma Curly. She kept commenting on how small he is. He must look much bigger in his pictures than he actually is. I’m posting a photo here from day one so you may be able to get a little better idea of his scale.
All other systems are looking good, and we are excited to be able to just focus on his eating in order to get him home.
He's looking great! It must be all those big green donuts he appears to be eating in every photo. Nothing better than donuts and milk!
ReplyDeleteOOOOHHHH! HOORAY! Good baby! I'm glad he seems to enjoy eating so I don't have to worry about returning the high chair.
