Five months old!

Looks like Corin is having a little bit more fun than Nick.

I have been gone for work for a few weeks, so the blog has been falling behind.
Corin has had a busy several weeks. His Aunt Michelle came to Bloomington for her baby shower, so Corin got to meet lots of new friends and family members.
Then Grandpa and Mimi Yarde came into town for a visit.
He has hit the five month mark, and is really starting to use his voice now. He laughs and gurgles and yells pretty much all of the time.
I came home from my trip and discovered that we have a hive of bees living in the ceiling above our kitchen (they can't get into the house from there...yet). We've got someone coming tomorrow, but Kristi is living in a constant state of panic and I'm fully expecting that we will have Corin in a full bee keeper suit by the end of the day.

Day 142: GO COLTS!

I'm back from my trip and, while I had a great time, I couldn't be happier to be back home with my boy (Kristi too). Today was all about just hanging out together, watching football and laughing. His laugh really changed while I was gone. He used to just sort of chuckle (or a little Heh Heh), but now he is really laughing out loud.

Days 131-134: Reach out and grab it!

SHARK ATTACK!

These pics will have to get you through the next week. I'm leaving tomorrow for Budapest for a week, so there won't be any photo updates.
We had a good start to the weekend at home. Cousin Dmitri came and spent the night at our house last night. We all had a great time. He was happy and very gentle with Corin.
Corin has reached a wonderful time in his development. He smiles and laughs all of the time. If you are holding a toy and brush it up against his hand he will grab it from you and pull it to his mouth. He has pretty much total control of his head movements and can hold it up and turn it anywhere he wants for as long as he wants. You can see in the pictures above that he does push up off of the ground a little bit when he is on his tummy, but no real attempts to get up on all fours yet.
