Corin, Lola, Aunts Faye and Emily, Uncle Matt, Dmitri and I went to Ohio to visit my family for Memorial Day. Corin had a blast playing in the sprinkler and taking walks around in the sunshine. We all had a great time eating, playing games and laughing.
At home Corin continues to improve on his walking skills, but his body is bearing the marks of his hard learning curve. He fell outside and got a big bruise/scrap on his forehead, and then the next day fell inside and busted open his lip. But he is getting more confident and is now able to take a few steps backwards when he needs to. He is also regular crawling now, which was one of the goals of the First Steps physical therapy program. They still haven't started seeing him yet, and by the time they get around to it he is going to have crossed everything off of the list on his own.
Our neighborhood pool has opened up now, and Corin goes swimming almost everyday. His buddy John comes over a few times a week and they head down to show off their ripped bods to the laddies at the kiddie pool.
