Ten months old

Corin just keeps ticking the months off. He already has ten under belt and it doesn't look like he is going to slow down any time soon. His curiosity has no end. Any new thing he sees he can't wait to get his hands on. It is so funny to sit and watch him play with something. He focuses so hard on the task in front of him and works so hard (mostly to get as much of the item as possible in his mouth). But he will sit by himself for a while on the floor, just taking toys out of his little basket and then moving on to the next one.
He has also started dancing a little bit. He still doesn't walk or crawl (although he seems very close on that one), but if there is music playing while he is sitting down or while you are holding him, he will start to dance around. It is funny and very cute to watch. He also enjoys shaking his head from side-to-side in an emphatic "No", which cracks us up every time he does it.
He is having more and more new foods now. When we are eating anything that we can cut into tiny pieces or mach up a bit we will share our food with him so he can get used to different tastes and textures. We have recently discovered these little Gerber puffs (shaped sort of like cheese puffs) that he cannot get enough of. If you dump several of them out in front of him he picks them up one at a time and shoves them in his mouth. Watching him feed himself is ridiculously cute.
We had a family gathering at the house yesterday for Lola's birthday and Corin had a great time. He always does when the whole family gets together - there is always someone waiting to get their hands on him and entertain all of his wishes.
